Wayne State Final Project

This project required analysis by device evolution, and/ or synthesis. I built a 240 DC power supply to drive the solenoids. I used a Parallax microcontroller to decode the MIDI signal to control the sensitivity of the solenoids hitting the acoustic drum head.  This was designed to fit into a 19" standard rack mount.
